Ah, I’m glad to hear this piece is resonant with someone whose experience of disability is a bit different! Not everyone is a big fan of the “spoon theory” model, but I do love how it presents disability, and living with disability, as using limited energy in strategic, but restricted ways. It applies to a lot of kinds of disabled experiences, I guess!
