Being nonbinary doesn’t opt me out of the game, buddy. It means I receive transphobia in addition to the sexism I already experienced when I was fully perceived as a woman. And now I get the added benefit of some people saying I don’t have the right to discuss sexism! It’s not an escape, trust me — my honesty about who I am has come at the price of added dismissive bullshit, like the kind you’re slinging right now.
