Hi Anthony!
Hi Anthony! At this time, no, there isn't any replacement term for Asperger's, because so many people in the community have made solidarity and collapsing hierarchies such a focus. However, as someone who really fits the classic Asperger's profile super closely (hyper verbal at a young age, "little professor" communication style, clumsy, awkward but able to socialize), I do really wish we had a term for the profile that wasn't so flawed. Some of the differences seem important to describe -- especially the differences in verbal pattern. Most people associate Autism with speaking at a late age, and struggling with communication, so there being a subtype that is the complete opposite of that seems important to note.
