I loved someone who did this kind of stuff to me. Mary Karr loved someone who did this kind of stuff to her. I think it's heinous behavior, but I also think it's not for the best for us to separate it out from the rest of humanity. Sadly I'm sure there are people I like and see on friendly terms who have done awful and abusive things in their pasts. MeToo I think helped shed light on just how prevalent that disjoint can be...it's sad.
