I relate so hard. Netflix's auto-play of trailers is a visual and auditory barrage, and too much to process most days. I know it's possible to turn off the auto-play by opening netflix settings in a separate browser (not a netflix-equipped device itself); that requires so much executive functioning I've never gotten around to it. In general the proliferation of advertisements and autoplaying audio online has made my life so stressful.
