I understand that you aren't meaning to target anyone Autistic with this, but I think the very idea that "if a person has no empathy, they are an abuser" still puts us in the blast zone, so to speak. People with NPD might have a higher than average rate of abusing other people, I haven't seen good data on that but it's totally plausible, but any framework that paints people with a mental disorder as innately more abusive is something that I think is dangerous for all of us who are disabled, even if our disorders are different. Does that make sense? I think the way NPD gets written about is sometimes as if people believe there is a clinical diagnosis for being evil. And I just don't think any humans are evil to their core, and certainly not because of mental illness.
