I'd argue the same thing could be said of most Autism diagnoses. It's a socially constructed mental illness based on a very narrow definition of normal human behavior. Some of the struggles of Autism are undeniable, such as sensory issues, but so much of what makes us seem different is social/lack of accommodation.
