Thank you so much for saying that. It helps, truly. I don’t mind parsing this stuff out with people, and some encounters/discussions about disagreement have been fruitful, but when people throw bad-faith arguments or fanciful hypotheticals at me or make quips that obviously indicate they haven’t read the piece and don’t care to, it’s dispiriting. So thank you for giving me a little anti-venom.
