Thank you so much for your very lovely and compassionate message! It’s so strange, I also can’t understand really why people have kids — I can’t imagine what it’s like to find it appealing — but I also feel kind of faulty or defective for lacking whatever supposedly selfless love makes it appealing, if that makes sense? That sense that I think a lot of queer people feel, and that a lot of gender non-conforming people feel, when faced with a society that wants very different things that you do… that sense of “what the hell is wrong with me?”. It can be so lonesome, even when you do know other people who feel the same way. Thanks so much for your support and kindness. ❤
