Thanks for your comment. If you don’t mean disrespect, I would ask that you recognize that I know how to explain who I am better than a third party who doesn’t live in my head and has read one piece of my writing. It’s totally okay if you don’t “get” it, and if the terms seem odd to you because you’re old school. That’s fine, the words aren’t for you. They’re for me. Labels are useful tools for self exploration and introspection and meaning-making…some people with similar experiences to me might ID as women with low libidos, sure, but that’s not me, for a variety of reasons. Feel free to read other pieces on my page to get a sense of why I identify as I do. I appreciate you trying to wrap your head around it even though it doesn’t come naturally to you.
