Thanks for your comment! Yeah, that part is a very extreme take. It’s informed entirely by my having been abused by someone who has only escalated in his violence with other people in the years since I left him, and a few other instances of witnessing abusers getting worse and worse no matter the consequences they met. That’s not all abusive people; for all I know DFW was a much better man later in his life. So it’s very reasonable to find that feeling of mine extreme and uncharitable.
