Sadly, I've seen Cell Block get invaded by transphobic pests at Chicago Pet Patrol nights, and other nights -- it's a venue that's open to members of the public and is most often frequented by cis people, and some of them behave very badly toward trans people (though in my experience bar staff have been excellent at addressing this). I posted the event because it is in a public space that anyone can freely walk into -- which is what happened that night. I was happy to remove all mention of the event within an hour of posting, per the organizers' request. But it's also openly posted about on Lex, Instagram, and many other places where anyone can see. If you honestly think that transphobic attackers are getting tip-offs from reading a seven thousand word newsletter rather than anywhere else this information was publicly available (or that they didn't just drunkenly wander in), then you should edit your comment to remove the name of the event, as it's no longer identified anywhere else on here.
